Gifts to the Club

The Swedish Club in Reval has, since its founding in 1924, been sustained by the generosity of its friends. The statutes of the club speak of gathering Swedish and Finnish souls for edification and fellowship — and, in cases of need, of supporting distressed compatriots. Gifts to the club take many forms: monetary donations, fine wines pledged to the annual charity auction, and contributions to benevolent causes in the spirit of the founding statutes.

The Wall of Fame below honours those whose generosity has adorned the Grand Ball and advanced the charitable mission of the club. Each name is accompanied by a citation of gratitude.

Support the Club & Its Charity

The Swedish Club in Reval welcomes gifts of three kinds. A monetary donation supports the club's cultural programmes and the relief of distressed compatriots. A pledge of fine wine adorns the annual charity auction, the proceeds of which are donated in full to local charity. A charitable contribution may be directed to a benevolent cause of the donor's choosing, in the spirit of the statutes of 1924.

To make a gift, or to discuss a donation, please write to the board. Your generosity will be recorded on the Wall of Fame with an honorary citation, unless you prefer to remain anonymous.
